Spent good money on a wedding ring for my wife - she religiously went and had it inspected and cleaned every time we shopped at Fred Meyer. The diamond fell out, and because 'we hadn't retained any documentation of inspections', they refused to replace the diamond. This is 2014 - don't you have any kind of internal system for this? DO NOT BUY YOUR JEWELRY HERE!!
